Your First Session

Don't worry if you haven't played football in decades or you've never played at all. Our sessions are relaxed and supportive. We start with a gentle warm-up, then play small-sided games with plenty of breaks. Everyone plays at their own pace — there's no pressure to be brilliant, just to enjoy yourself.

Who Can Join?

Our sessions are for people aged 60 and over. If you're able to walk at a steady pace for short bursts, you're fit enough to play.

What Is Walking Football?

Walking football is exactly what it sounds like — football played at walking pace. It's designed for older people who want to stay active without the impact and intensity of the traditional game.

No Running

At least one foot must stay on the ground at all times. If you break into a run, the other team gets a free kick — it keeps things fair and safe.

Gentle Contact

No tackling or shoulder barging. The ball is played on the ground, and challenges are made side-by-side. It's all about skill, not strength.

Smaller Pitches

We play on smaller pitches with smaller goals and fewer players, so there's less distance to cover and everyone gets plenty of touches.

Ready to Play?

Just turn up to a session — we'll take care of the rest. See you on the pitch.
